Help with making and publishing games
Access & waitlist
- How the waitlist works
How the studs.gg waitlist works: leave your email to get in, in the order people joined, or skip the wait with Pro. Existing users keep their access.
Billing, credits & plans
- How credits work
How credits pay for studs.gg runs: your first run is free, most runs cost 100 to 300 credits, and Pro adds 400 credits a day up to 1,200.
- What do I get with Pro?
Pro is $19.99 a month: 400 credits a day, up to 1,200 banked, priority in the build queue and no waitlist. How to upgrade, manage or cancel.
Creating your game
- How building works and how long it takes
What happens in a studs.gg run, from a few questions and concept cards to the finished build. A typical run takes about an hour; we email you when it's done.
- How to write a prompt that works
Write a Roblox game prompt that builds well: the genre, what the player does, the look and the limits, in two or three sentences. With an example.
- Parts of my game are missing
Some areas of your game couldn't be built? Download the .rbxl, retry, or ask for the missing areas one at a time. Publishing waits until it's complete.
Getting started
- Do I need Roblox Studio?
No. studs.gg builds and publishes your Roblox game from the browser. Studio is optional, for playing the downloaded .rbxl or editing it by hand.
- What is Studs and how do I start?
studs.gg builds Roblox games from a description. Sign in with Roblox, describe your game, pick a concept, and publish it to your account. Nothing to install.
Publishing to Roblox
- Connect Roblox so Studs can publish
Connect your Roblox account to studs.gg in one sign-in. Studs Connect sets up 5 games and a publishing key for you, so there is no API key to copy.
- Publish your game to Roblox
Publish your studs.gg game to Roblox from a phone or a computer. Connect Roblox once, pick a game and press Publish, with no Studio and no API key to copy.
