What is Studs and how do I start?

studs.gg builds Roblox games from a description. Sign in with Roblox, describe your game, pick a concept, and publish it to your account. Nothing to install.

Studs builds Roblox games from a description. You write what you want to play, Studs designs and builds it, and you publish it to your Roblox account. It runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install.

Your first game

  1. Go to app.studs.gg and sign in with your Roblox account. That is the only way to sign in, and we never see your Roblox password.

  2. Describe your game in the box, or pick one of the starter ideas. One or two sentences is plenty: what kind of game it is, what you do in it, and how it should look. How to write a prompt that works has examples.

  3. Click Build. Studs may ask you a few short questions and then show you a handful of concepts. Pick the one you like, or skip straight to the concepts.

  4. Wait while it builds. A typical run takes about an hour, so add your email under Account and turn on the finished-run notification, then come back when we email you. When it is done you will see 3D previews of what was built, and you can publish or download your game. How building works explains each step.

Changing your game

Send another message in the same project to change it, for example "make the enemies faster" or "add a shop at spawn". Keep each change small and specific. If you want a completely different game, start a new project instead.

Your first run is free: one prompt, one build, and you keep whatever comes out. Changing it afterwards, or building again, needs Pro. See How credits work.
