AI tools that make Roblox games, compared
Most AI tools for Roblox either work inside Roblox Studio on a computer, or build in the browser and hand you a file to publish from Studio. Two publish the game for you with no Studio at all. Roblox Build does it in a limited alpha inside the Roblox app, and studs.gg does it in any browser, phone included.

Roblox Build
Roblox's own text-to-game tool, a tab in the Roblox mobile app. It publishes straight to your profile, but it is a public alpha for age-checked users in New Zealand, Serbia and Singapore. Desktop access was announced in September 2026 with no date. Opening a Build game in Studio turns it into a regular Studio game for good.

Roblox Assistant
The AI built into Roblox Studio. It writes Luau, builds and edits objects and helps you playtest. You do the building and publishing yourself, in Studio on a computer.
Builds in the browser
studs.gg
Builds and playtests the game, then publishes it to your own Roblox account. A one-time sign-in to Roblox sets up five empty games on your account and a publishing key limited to them, so you never create or paste a key. Works the same on a phone.
PromptBlox
Builds in a browser chat, phone included, then hands you an .rbxlx file. Its own guide says you finish the game in Roblox Studio on a computer. An optional direct publish needs a place you already own and your own Open Cloud API key.

Obby
Builds a game with a preview in the browser, then exports a standard .rbxlx file that you open in Roblox Studio and publish from there.
LevelShaper
Designs and previews the game in any browser, then you download an .rbxlx file. Its FAQ says opening the file needs Roblox Studio on a Windows PC or Mac, and you publish from there.
Roblox AI (Robcel)
One product under two names, robloxai.net and robcel.com. It builds in the browser and gives you a place file to open and publish in Roblox Studio. Downloading it needs a paid plan.
Player.games
Generates in the browser and exports an .rbxlx place file with a Rojo project, which you open in Roblox Studio to publish.
Works inside Roblox Studio
Lemonade
An agent that works through its official Roblox Studio plugin, with the project kept in Studio on Roblox. Paid plans exist, with prices behind sign-in.
Rebirth
You prompt on its site and it builds the game in Roblox Studio on your computer. On a phone you can start an idea, and Rebirth saves it for you in Studio.
Ropilot
A desktop app paired with a Studio plugin that reads your game, writes Luau, applies changes and runs playtests inside Studio. Needs a PC with Roblox Studio.
SuperbulletAI
A Windows desktop app connected to Roblox Studio through a plugin and Rojo. Its setup guide lists installing Studio first, and you publish from Studio.
Picoo
A chat that applies its changes to the place you have open in Roblox Studio, through the Picoo panel in Studio.
JellyBuild
Generates in the browser and applies the result through its Roblox Studio plugin. Its terms describe publishing to your own account as a future feature.
Makes assets, not games
Nilo
Makes 3D models, skins and animations in the browser, exported as .fbx or .glb for you to upload to Roblox Studio. It does not make or publish Roblox games.
How we checked
We read each tool’s own homepage, docs and pricing, and Roblox’s documentation for its tools. “Needs Studio” means Roblox Studio on a computer is needed at some step between your idea and a live game. - Can I make a Roblox game with AI without Roblox Studio?
- Yes, with studs.gg or Roblox Build. Most other browser builders, such as PromptBlox and Obby, build without Studio but hand you an .rbxlx file to publish from Studio. Studio plugins such as Rebirth, Ropilot and SuperbulletAI need Studio on a computer throughout.
- What is the difference between a browser builder and a Studio plugin?
- A browser builder makes the whole game from your description on its own servers. A Studio plugin is an assistant inside Roblox Studio. It edits the place you have open, and you stay in Studio to test and publish. Plugins suit people who already use Studio; browser builders suit people who do not.
