Season 04Current seasonOct 2026 – now

Built, tested, ready.

A brand-new builder that plans, builds and playtests your game before you get it. Connect Roblox without creating a key, and try Pro free for 7 days.

Season 4 in full
  1. Your game, even when a check fails

    #

If a final playtest check fails, you still get your game, with each problem named. A build is only held back if it won’t start at all.

  2. Big ideas, right-sized

    #

If your idea is too big for one game, you get a version that fits, with a note on what was left out.

  3. Try Pro free for 7 days

    #

Start a 7-day free trial of Pro. Cancel any time from Billing, and you’ll get a reminder before your trial ends.

  4. Keep shaping your game

    #

Ask for a change to a game from the new builder and it edits that game, instead of starting again.

  5. Paused builds keep their progress

    #

A paused build picks up the work it already did instead of redoing it.

  6. Clearer build results

    #

When some checks couldn’t finish, your build says so and names them, instead of reporting parts as missing.

  7. Connect Roblox without an API key

    #

Sign in to Roblox on our cloud computer and we set up publishing for you. No API key to create, copy or paste.

    • Connected before? Connect once more to keep publishing.
  8. A redesigned workspace

    #

Your account menu moves into the sidebar, Publish opens in its own drawer with your game icons, and one Notifications panel covers email, browser and sound.

  9. Ask mode knows your game

    #

Ask about a game the new builder made, and the answer draws on that game.

  10. A builder that playtests your game

    #

A brand-new builder plans your game, designs it, builds it and playtests it in Roblox Studio before you get it.

    • Projects from the previous builder keep their last build but can’t be edited further.
Season 03CompleteAug – Oct 2026

See it. Shape it. Play it.

Watch your game come together in 3D, pick a concept by its artwork, and ask for changes without losing what you’ve built.

Season 3 in full
  1. Games that work when you press Play

    #

More of your game works the first time you play it: buttons do what they say, tools land in players’ hands, and rounds restart when they should.

  2. Your projects, your way

    #

Every project has its own link to bookmark or open in a new tab. Archive the ones you’re done with, bring them back later, or duplicate one to try a new direction.

  3. Help and billing, built in

    #

Find answers at studs.gg/support, get an optional email when your build is done, and manage your plan and invoices from a new Billing page.

  4. A smarter prompt box

    #

Switch between Ask and Build, attach images, and keep your draft, even after a trip to checkout.

    • Type /build or /ask to switch modes without leaving the keyboard.
  5. Edits that keep your game intact

    #

Asking for a change no longer rebuilds your game or drops the parts you didn’t touch.

  6. One-step Roblox sign-in

    #

Signing in with your Roblox account now takes a single step.

  7. Pick up where your build stopped

    #

A build that hits a snag or runs out of credits pauses instead of failing, so you can carry on from where it stopped. If part of a game can’t be finished, you still get the rest.

  8. Real Roblox props, chosen to fit

    #

Your world is furnished with Roblox Creator Store models that match the scene, while the interactive pieces are built just for your game.

  9. Maps that hang together

    #

Worlds are planned before they’re built: areas connect, floors stack with real stairs, and doorways fit every avatar.

  10. Watch it take shape in 3D

    #

While your game builds, explore interactive 3D previews of its models, its areas and the whole map.

  11. Concepts you can see

    #

Concept options now come with artwork, so you can pick your game by how it looks.

Season 02CompleteMar – Jun 2026

Describe it. Then keep going.

A brand-new game builder, made from scratch. Describe the game you want, then keep shaping it in chat without starting over.

Season 2 in full
  1. Games that play, not just build

    #

Builds are checked for game-breaking problems before they reach you, and games gained tools, weapons, atmosphere, sound effects and music.

  2. Pick a concept first

    #

Before a build starts, choose from three concept ideas or go your own way.

  3. Know when it’s ready

    #

Get a browser notification, and an optional chime, when your build finishes, even from another tab.

  4. Show it what you mean

    #

Add reference images to your prompt by picking, dragging or pasting them in.

  5. Ask mode

    #

Ask about your project, Roblox or studs.gg without starting a build.

  6. Smoother publishing

    #

Your Roblox API key is checked before you publish, and Publish and Download now share one menu.

  7. Change your game without starting over

    #

Follow-up messages edit the game you already have, instead of making a new one.

  8. A brand-new game builder

    #

Rebuilt from scratch: it designs your game, builds its world with Roblox Creator Store props, writes the code and checks its own work before you get it.

    • Describe an obby, get an obby.
    • Describe a tycoon, get a tycoon.
Season 01CompleteDec 2025 – Feb 2026

Where it all started.

studs.gg opened to everyone: sign in with Roblox, describe a game in chat, and get something playable. Rough around the edges, and the start of everything since.

Season 1 in full
  1. Better questions, better games

    #

When your idea needs more detail, the AI asks one question at a time, and you can always answer in your own words.

  2. Real models and characters

    #

Builds bring in fitting 3D models from the Roblox Creator Store, and games can include characters that chase, wander or stand guard.

  3. Watch your build come together

    #

A rebuilt chat shows each step of your build in plain language, with retry and start over if something goes wrong.

  4. Publish to Roblox, or take the file

    #

Publish straight to your own Roblox experience, or download a place file to open in Roblox Studio.

  5. Describe it. Get a playable game.

    #

Describe your idea in chat and get a playable Roblox game with game logic, a 3D world and on-screen UI, all in one go.
