# Do I need Roblox Studio?

Nope! You can make and publish a whole game with Studs alone. No Studio needed.

## Good to know

* You don't need Studio, or any download. Studs runs in your browser, and it can publish to Roblox for you.
* Want to open your game in Studio anyway? In the publish menu, choose Download .rbxl, then open that file in Studio.
* Heads up: changes you make in Studio don't come back into Studs. So if you keep building here, make your changes here.

## Why would I use Studio then?

You don't have to. Some people like to hand-tweak little things, like nudging a part or tweaking a script. That's fine. Just remember those edits stay in Studio and don't sync back to Studs.
