# How building works (and how long it takes)

When you hit **Build**, Studs makes your game step by step. It takes a few minutes. Grab a snack, it is worth the wait.

First, Studs shows you a few game ideas to pick from, then asks a couple of quick questions. Pick what you love, and it starts building.

## While it builds

You will see it working through the steps. When it is done, your game is ready to play and change.

Taking a long time or stuck? That is almost always a small hiccup on our side, not you. Just hit retry. See "My game is stuck or failed."
